Reverend Kevin Lanier Pullam<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>was born May 3, 1971, to Pastor William L. and Lady Vietta L. Pullam. He is entrusted with the stewardship of four sons (Kory, Kamaron, Kristian, Kaleb) and one daughter (Kevelyn). Rev. Pullam is a Class A barber, licensed in both Texas and Wisconsin, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. His formal education includes a BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry (DMin.) from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. Over the years, Rev. Pullam has also earned Associate of Arts degrees in Biblical Studies, Liberal Arts, Sociology, and Psychology, along with a Certificate in Ministry from Howard Payne University.<\/p>\n Rev. Pullam\u2019s pastoral journey began in\u00a0Friendship Baptist Church\u00a0in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he served as Senior Pastor from 2000 to 2011. During his time there, he learned the importance of spiritual growth and leadership, embracing every challenge as an opportunity to be shaped by God’s hand. He reflects on his time at Friendship Baptist, saying, “While at FBC, God increased my skill, but at EBC, God increased my character.”<\/p>\n In June 2011, Rev. Pullam accepted the call to serve as Senior Pastor of\u00a0Emmanuel Baptist Church\u00a0in Beloit, Wisconsin. During his six years of leadership, the congregation reached significant milestones in its growth, and Rev. Pullam led them through a season of spiritual renewal and deepened faith. He was instrumental in helping the church prepare for the challenges of the modern world while emphasizing the need for a strong foundation in biblical teaching. Rev. Pullam describes his time at Emmanuel as a period of both personal and ministerial transformation, as he helped the congregation navigate and grow in their mission for God’s kingdom.<\/p>\n On October 1, 2017, Rev. Pullam began his tenure as Senior Pastor of\u00a0Pleasant Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church\u00a0in Fort Worth, Texas. His leadership has been marked by compassion, excitement, and an unwavering commitment to spiritual depth. Under his guidance, the congregation has embraced God’s vision for their future, and Rev. Pullam continues to trust God to enlarge his territory in unyielding ways. He has cultivated a strong bond with the multigenerational congregation, leading with sincerity and approachability, while inspiring faith and unity.<\/p>\n Throughout his years of service, Rev. Pullam has remained a humble servant, committed to the principles of the gospel. He holds steadfast to the exhortation of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:31, which states, \u201cSo whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.\u201d For Rev.
